ABOUT YOU

The Xtreme Labs design team is looking for a talented designer with big aspirations to work on the next generation of applications for mobile devices. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of self-motivation, along with a portfolio of design that is clear and professional. This designer is active in the tech/design community and always looking to chart new creative territory. They possess excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills with a strong work ethic. Members of our team have a real interest in all areas of culture – graphic design, illustration, fashion, music, art, architecture, industrial design, photography and more.

As a designer at Xtreme Labs, you will work directly with clients as well as internal teams. Your primary responsibility will be interface design for custom mobile, tablet, smart TV, and web applications. As a result, you may have the chance to travel to client offices across North America. After completion of each project, your work will go live in the manufacturer application stores and be seen by millions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create effective, intuitive UX/UI and visual designs for clients’ web and mobile applications; as well as design Xtreme Labs marketing materials
  • Work collaboratively as part of a creative team that includes both clients and internal colleagues
  • Offer recommended solutions to clients' design and usability problems
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions with clients and internal project teams
  • Stay up-to-date on the current and best UI and visual design practices and trends


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2 years work experience in graphic/digital media design including web (mobile UI design an asset)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (esp. Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Drawing skills an asset
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Animation, or related field

A portfolio of work MUST be included for consideration.
